As an interface designer, you will learn how to design a natural looking interface and story on an immersive space or create an intuitive menu design for an AR headset. By understanding how the human brain interacts in an immersive or augmented environment you will transform your user research and UX skills to an immersive space. You will explore how users interact with virtual objects or avatars in XR. Implement design thinking and prototyping frameworks for XR production pipelines according to business needs.

Course Objectives:
-Develop skills for creating user interfaces and experience designs across the immersive realities spectrum.
-Learn to effectively express ideas and mockups in VR/AR in an agile creative environment  consisting  of  other  designers,  product  managers  and developers.
-Learn how to create experiences on visual scripting editors of VR/game engines like Unity/Unreal.
-Get acquainted with WebXR and multi user as well as remote collaboration tools enabling cross platform interaction.
-Adapting a brand’s or product’s design guidelines to the XR medium.
-Understand how to organize big data and cloud stored assets in order to create meaningful task and user flows.
-Find ways to effectively use VR/AR for rapid prototyping and design thinking processes to untapped challenges of immersive space.
-Apply  UI  &  Visual  Design  principles  and  create  immersive user interfaces via high fidelity wireframes & interactive prototypes
-Create XR apps that can be experienced through different platforms and input methods, for accessibility and reaching to a broader audience.
-Run QA tests and collect user feedback, iterate your prototype based on that and repeat.
-Explore how teleportation, 6dof movement and other spatial concepts are revolutionizing the rules of user experience.
-Integrate natural interaction tech (speech recognition; voice control; gesture recognition like hand or eye tracking) to immersive space
-Play with various haptics and wearables hardware to understand how user interaction is changing the experience.
-Understand how audio, biosensing and other immersive factors help the overall experience
In the fulltime bootcamp: 40 hours a week are spent in the classroom together with our mentors and trainers.
In the part time bootcamp: 14 hours a week of in classroom training is required. Saturday: 8 hours, Tuesday and Thursday 3 hours each.
